Trailer 2 for BLADE RUNNER 2049

I am a sentimental schlub, I cannot deny … and I will not deny myself the many occasions to regress into a sobbing fit, when confronted with a delicious or nasty past, and especially re-mixed into a new package suited to fit the NOW - when done / executed well - is worthy of tears, and hushed whispers, or in this specific-case, a “blog-post”.

Judge me if you will, but permit to share with you folks, the second trailer for BLADE RUNNER 2049. The tagline for this release, is so apt tho; ”The past will always find you.”

It is not about how “awesome” it is - and this was pretty darn exciting, I admit - but it’s about the wonderful memories it evoked, the conversations once active and laid dormant but for fellow geek-heads of the genre, now teased for another (hopefully) robust round of discourse, in these murky days of over-conversations on the www.

Am I reacting too much to this? Perhaps so, but I enjoy it, so thanks for reading thus far.

"Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

From executive producer Ridley Scott and director Denis Villeneuve, #BladeRunner2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana De Armas, MacKenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, Carla Juri, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto."
